Phantoms' Residence

Prima și, deocamdată, ultima mea vizită la ruinele castelului de la Bonțida m-a lăsat cu o amintire inconfortabilă și cu sentimente pe măsură. Ar putea fi o addénda la cele spuse de mine tot aici: https://teodorpantea.blogspot.com/2020/01/castele.html
Dacă atunci mă refeream la un castel păstrat integral și transformat în obiectiv turistic (aspecte pe care le-am evitat în seria de fotografii de acolo...), ruinele de la Bonțida mi-au inspirat titlul prezentei postari, mai ales că am auzit de alte asemenea "așezăminte" similare, bântuite. La Bonțida nu am avut parte de "întâlniri de gradul trei" cu aceste entități vag definite/descrise și de puțini întâlnite dar ceva îmi sugera un posibil sălaș al lor. Un ecou din strafundurile unor epoci demult apuse și imposibil de retrăit. Ruinele sunt mai... "autentice" decât o eventuală restaurare a lor!!
Nu pot decât să închei printr-o glumă auzită demult la radio:

Cineva întreaba niște lucrători:  "Ce faceți voi aici?!" Răspuns (prin vocea inconfundabilă a lui Horia Căciulescu): "Construim ruine pentru turiști!!"

My first and, for the time being, my last visit to the ruins of the castle in Bonțida left me with an uncomfortable memory and feelings to match it. It could be an addendum to what I also said here: https://teodorpantea.blogspot.com/2020/01/castele.html

If at that time I was referring to a castle kept intact and turned into a tourist attraction (aspects that I avoided in the series of photos I took there ...), the ruins of Bonțida inspired the title of the present post, especially since I heard of other such similar, haunted "settlements." At Bonțida I did not experience any "close encounters of the third kind" with any of those vaguely defined / described entities met by just a few, but something suggested the place could be their possible dwelling. An echo from the depths of a bygone, impossible to re-live era. The ruins are more ... "authentic" than a possible restoration of them!!

I can only conclude with a long-ago-heard joke on the radio: Someone sees some labourers at work and asks them: "What are you doing here ?!" Answer (through the unmistakable voice of Horia Căciulescu, a famous Romanian comedian): "We are building ruins for tourists!!”.
