Abstract... în gândire...
O imagine/fotografie abstractă poate fi definită ca una care nu reprezintă nimic, nu exprimă nimic și nu transmite alt mesaj decât unul estetic. Imaginea place privitorului în măsura în care devine un obiect estetic și îi crează acestuia acel comfort visual rezultat din combinația de culori, forme mai mult sau mai puțin definite, texturi, structur, lumini, umbre, mister, mișcare… În măsura în care acestea induc în privirea, sufletul și subconștientul privitorului acea senzație de placere rezultată din contemplarea imaginii, acesta se detașeaza de efortul de-a deduce și/sau înțelege ce reprezintă imaginea, ce și unde a fost fotografiat, care e subiectul și ce i-a atras atenția fotografului.
Fotografia abstractă oferă posibilitatea de-a fotografia orice, mai ales în situația absenței unor subiecte spectaculoase, a unor întâmplări, evenimente sau idei de eseu profund elaborate și/sau pregătite. Fotografia abstractă ofera posibilitatea unui gest fotografic aparte, rezultat din mișcarea camerei în momentul declanșării, conferind imaginii un aspect pe cât de confuz, pe atât de estetic.
Fotografia abstractă e un modalitate de investigare a unui univers omniprezent și mereu disponibil, dar prezintă și pericolul/capcana ca fotograful să creadă că chiar orice și oricum poate fi fotografiat, sub masca confuziei aparente a imaginii rezultate!!
Nu am început să fac fotografie abstract din lipsa de alte subiecte sau idei, ci pentru că am descoperit-o într-un moment, cred eu, favorabil, printre multiplele tematici, stiluri și proiecte abordate/dezvoltate pe parcurs.
Câteva dintre primele astfel de imagini vi le prezint în acestă expoziție!! Aștept de la cei ce le vedeți, un eventual răspuns dacă am căzut sau nu în capcana prezentata mai sus!! Mă veți ajuta în a continua această nouă exprimare a mea. Sau, de ce nu, în a o abandona…
An abstract image/photo can be defined as one that represents nothing, expresses nothing and does not convey a message other than an aesthetic one. The image is pleasing to the viewer in that it becomes an aesthetic object and induces to it that visual comfort resulting from the combination of colors, more or less defined shapes, textures, structure, lights, shadows, mystery, movement ... To the extent that they induce in the gaze, the soul and the subconscious of the viewer, that sensation of pleasure resulting from the contemplation of the image, it detaches itself from the effort to deduce and/or understand what the image represents, what and where it was photographed, what the subject was and what attracted the photographer's attention.
Abstract photography offers the possibility of photographing anything,
especially in the absence of spectacular subjects, events or of deeply
elaborated and/or prepared essay ideas. Abstract photography offers the
possibility of a special photographic gesture, resulting from the movement of
the camera at the time of shooting, giving the image an aspect that is both
confusing and aesthetically.
Abstract photography is a way of investigating a ubiquitous and always
available universe, but it also presents the danger/trap that the photographer
may believe that anything and everything can be photographed, under the
apparent confusion mask of the resulting image!!
I did not start taking abstract photography due to the lack of other topics
or ideas, but because I discovered it at one point, I think, favorably, among
the many themes, styles and projects approached/ developed during the time.
Some of the first such images I present to you in this exhibition!! I
expect from those you watch them, a possible answer whether or not I fell into
the trap presented above!! You will help me to continue this new expression of
mine. Or, why not, to abandon it ...
